Book your ceremony and registrar

Your choice of room may no longer have the same seating capacity as before due to restrictions. If you are choosing another venue, you will need to contact them to find out what restrictions are in place. For more information and updates, read GOV.UK's guidance on small marriages and civil partnerships.

For your ceremony, you will need to book a registrar and a ceremony room. Ceremony rooms are available at approved venues and council-owned locations, whilst registrars need to be booked via the Register Office.

Book one of our ceremony rooms

Our offices are located in the beautiful Town Hall, a Grade II listed building built in 1895. It has retained many of its original features. We are opposite Queen's Gardens – an ideal place for memorable photographs.

We have 3 ceremony rooms available for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies.
